Today Michael Kors Acquired Versace for More than $2.12 Billion. Wow!!! What a day for fashion! Michael Kors Holdings Ltd. has bought Versace, the Italian luxury goods house founded by the late Gianni Versace in 1978 and has been creatively helmed by his sister Donatella Versace. The Michael Kors Holdings company will be renamed Capri Holdings Limited with the acquisition.

Donatella Versace will maintain her designer position and will once again be working alongside her brother Santo and Her daughter Allegra. I'm excited to see what these icons bring us in the coming seasons.
